The services provided by MKR Networks in this project include the integration of the CRD Order management solution into the client’s in-house environment. The company also designed and developed a prototype project to use Snowflake instead of SQL Server for the client’s current data warehouse. Additionally, MKR Networks maintained the data warehouse for in-house analytics and reporting of trading data, and retired the client’s legacy system, TOMS (Trading Order Management System).

To ensure the smooth deployment of the project, MKR Networks provided production support and deployment through CICD pipelines. The company also managed the AWS storage (S3 and Glacier) provisioning, RDS and EC2 instances, and database replication on different zones. They also performed AWS maintenance using Terraform script deployment, DB Ops, Production support and deployments.

The company’s team also worked on SQL Server Extended events and adding and modifying modules by creating new database objects and processes to enhance existing functionality and scale the process for multiple funds and orders. The team also optimized the ETL processes by executing tasks in parallel, avoiding blocking tasks, and moving execution into stored procedures and database objects.

Furthermore, MKR Networks’s team developed SSIS package, modification to use parallelism, Extended Events, execution plan, system monitor, materialized views, and indices. They also handled large objects saving and retrieving from the database and developed reports in SSRS for daily trading activity for different portfolios and accounts. Gitlab JIRA and CICD pipeline deployments were also provided by the company.
